Japanese Cut Paste is a clay which can be applied after pruning your bonsai or other trees.
Applying the Cut Paste will keep the cut area soft and protect for a year or longer.
A month to two months after applying, cracks will appear. This is normal, and a sign that the tree is forming a callus over the cut area.
